Is this a good format? seven teams per group means 6 matches per team and 21 matches per group in the preliminary rounds.While most agreed the 2007 format with 3 matches per team was too...

Since it kicks off in 3 days time I think it's about time the thread went up for it.

I've been looking forward to this much more than the IPL I'm even looking at getting a HD set top box to get the channel in Oz which is showing it to watch NSW play on friday night. I've waited for something like this for a very long time! (althought I wanted a FC or ODD Tournament)

Some pepole want the 50-over game canned. After switching off the tv half-way thru the silly Monday final, I agree in hindsight with geebee that this was a non-event. What do you think.

Well here we are. After 2 weeks of crazed action, Pakistan take on Sri Lanka at Lords tomorrow.

Should be a cracker. Sri favourites, but Pakistan can certainly upset the show if things go their way.
